This one was handled better than the one we saw last year where the guy just shot and killed it.

It appears they are "pushing" the moose. Not very wise! Snow machine stress on animals should be minimized. Glad they didn't kill the moose.

Yeah who knows how long that moose ran before the video showed up. Also notice it was a bull and looked like very fresh shed. They said they thought it was sick, well good lets push a sick moose.

They simply got too close, give it a little space, slow down let it make a plan. But when you pull up with in a few yards your just too close.

Well, at least they learned from their encounter to give the animal "more room".

I agree, they "simply got too close" as coelker stated.

I wonder if they had had more fire power, would they have killed the moose for "attacking them"?

If anything, they attacked the moose!

Looks like they were chasing the moose to me, they are having a tough winter as well and just want to hang where the snow is not so deep. Turn around and leave the area.
