This is Kim Friedman from Kalispell Mt. with her opening day bird. Its her second bird with her bow. Last year she shot a small jake. This year she shot this nice tom.

Kim says thank you to each of you for the congratulations and kind words. That turkey has her very excited. She is becoming a very good hunter and is definitely a good shot. She dumped her turkey with one shot last year and I had to shoot four arrows into mine. Kim is my wife by the way.... I'm proud of her accomplishments. She has bagged turkeys, pigs, a badger, a rattlesnake and deer with her bow. She only began archery a few years ago. Though her excitement for the hunt and her desire to hunt with her bow makes me the happiest. Reminds me to enjoy my hunting and take it all in as if it was my first time again.

It took him 3 days in the blind. to put an arrow in this guy 15 yd shot 5 yard recovery. We have a new Bow Hunter

That is an great looking bird. I have only seen the merriams turkey much higher in the mountains. Awesome he got one and a rare one at that.
