Good firend talks me into going turkey hunting this morning, catch was, he wanted to hunt the river which means use my boat. No biggie.
So, about good daylight, we are drifting along and I blow my airhorn ($2 turkey locator from Wally World). Three birds answer and I pull into the bank. He jumps out and starts off without a word. I give it deep consideration and after carefull thought, tie on a white Whirly Bee and drop the trolling motor.
End result, 13 nice crappie, four perfect eating-size bass and a tired hunting partner. He had two different birds inside 40-yards and could not close the deal. I have fish to fillet. I gave him all but five crappie.
Now that is the way to turkey hunt.

Nice! You should have just called a tom down to the bank and shot him from the boat, then you would have had the coup de grace!
