Serious question: What do you with the carp?
Do you eat them? I've never caught/shot or eaten one and I've heard mixed reviews, so just curious is all.

We had our first bowfishing tournament of the year 2 weekends ago at my local lake here in Colorado, I believe those fish are donated to the animal sanctuary to feed the lions and tigers and bears.

if you are bowfishing at higher elevations how does that impact the hold over / hold under refractive compensation variable
From: trkyslr
21-Jun-15
Bou at 11000 ft I hold a little low ;-) All seriousness the diff platform heights make shooting under fish different, so does the distance of shot etc. on further shots also gotta include the arrow planning out which means you aim lower then you think. a lot of variables involved in shots at fish. It took me a few trips to figure it out but now shoot well and have it kinda figured out.
