Serious question: What do you with the carp?
Do you eat them? I've never caught/shot or eaten one and I've heard mixed reviews, so just curious is all.
We had our first bowfishing tournament of the year 2 weekends ago at my local lake here in Colorado, I believe those fish are donated to the animal sanctuary to feed the lions and tigers and bears.
heres one from last year,, Delta pig 30#er,,, first day out this year will be during the next couple weeks.
scrpawood, our group uses them as fertilizer for a rancher who in trade hooks us up with access.
yep garden they go ,also tournaments will donate to the catfish guides ,a man took two dumped trucks last year from a single one day event ,he donated a fishing trip ,so pretty cool ,nice fish trkyslr a hog for sure, will you be attending the bowfishing events here in CA ? ,fubar you sure go from snow to hot quick nice to see ya have some nice spring weather to shoot some carp ,any pics folks

Shoot, I went out yesterday as the wind finally died down here and my trolling motor took a dump on me in the first 5 minutes
same here windy and hard to pick out fish ,but the wind died down and game was on here is a few pics, the support stick was awesome ,simple lift and shoot ,
Dang Chris and Joe! You guys are slaying some monsters! What's the last one weigh?
Mark he was #20... Had one 25-30 come off too
if you are bowfishing at higher elevations how does that impact the hold over / hold under refractive compensation variable
Bou at 11000 ft I hold a little low ;-) All seriousness the diff platform heights make shooting under fish different, so does the distance of shot etc. on further shots also gotta include the arrow planning out which means you aim lower then you think. a lot of variables involved in shots at fish. It took me a few trips to figure it out but now shoot well and have it kinda figured out.
Big, stinky fish! Very cool guys
thanks for the pics folks ,sure would like to tag one of them hogs, congrads
