Just got my tag in the mail, CO S9. Right in my back yard( 40 miles from the house). I'm pretty stoked, It took 8 years but it should be worth it.
That's awesome!! Congrats! Post your progress this year for us to see

Congrats! Better get in shape for that unit :)
Congrats! (I heard that can be some rough country)
I used to elk hunt in 82/86(S9) till I wised up, so I know what I'm up against. The area is about as steep as anywhere I have hunted. I'll Keep you guys posted. I need to get back in shape!
Post up photos from your scouting trips too!
Congratulations on the tag.
Congrats on the tag, a tough unit but there are some good rams in there. Best of luck on the hunt and please take lots of pics and share them here with us.
I also have aS9 tag...PM sent.
Thanks everyone! I told my boss that I'll be taking 4 five day weekends in August, She was not too upset... My employer was OK with it too. Cant wait till the snow recedes a little so I can get up and do some scouting!
Going in here Friday to set camp and try my luck, the sheep are there, just have to get the drop on one. This is going to be a blast! Good luck to all the other CO hunters going out next weekend!
Good luck & keep us posted!
Right on! Just don't be spookinsheep! Just kidding, best of luck!

Be safe and enjoy
