Yes deer and turkey. I use it to seed old logging roads.

I have a plot about six years old and the deer and turkey are always in it.

It will last 20 years,They use it for roadways to prevent erosion. Has pretty yellow flowers. Here in Wi. Deer use it in winter

Crown vetch is good too if you keep it under control. It can be an invasive if you let it wander to far from where you want to keep it.

I have it in my "dryland mix" Also my clients commonly used it to help establish Kura Clover due to both being slow to establish but with longevity. So, trefoil works best with less aggressive species.

seed, boutifulgardens.org they sell smaller quantities for a great price. I have watched deer eat it , I remember examining the plant, I just didn't know what it was, till now. the seeds looked like tiny beans. I might have to add some to my field

Hancock seed catalogs it, but as mentioned above, it's pricey !
