Let's see your Class of 2015
Whitetail Deer

I'm unsure of what to think about the name of Pat's camera. . . .
I haven't got my cams out yet, I'll post some photos the end of July or so if I have anything good :)
Courtesy of Kelly Harris Mineral Site!!! Thanks Kelly
Biggest one so far. Have cams to check still but not until mid July.
Same buck diff angle. Any thoughts, I think he will be a smaller 8 when finished, Hard to say but compared to some others I have seen.
I have been watching this buck for the last 4 years, and he seems to have lost an eye last fall.... should get a better pic of him sooner or later, and have a clearer view of it. Looks like his antlers are going down hill as well....
I'll have some to post in a month or so. Setting some tomorrow.
This guy, one of eight in a bachelor group, is the best so far.
Here's one on my minerals.
Different buck at a different mineral site
Man, you all are early! I'm going to have to get my cameras out this weekend. I love this time of year. I'm hoping I see some familiar faces on camera that just missed last years cut.
Lat year you can see the scare on him
This one is best so far. He is starting to grow UP instead of OUT now. Saw him look at me through binos looked about 22" inside spread. Hope to keep him around.
And of course there is the very mature 3 legger named "Tripod"
The best of 12 or so in the local bachelor group (the one on the right). He's a resident that survived last year at what we guesstimated was 140" gross. I was about to shoot him last October when a bigger deer I had never seen before came up behind him, saving him to (I hope) get 20" or so bigger.
I like the deer pics but, I'd rather see the picture of Carrie Underwood's toned bodied after having her baby. that Pat has behind his second trail cam pic. :^). Call me stupid. Call me off topic. I don't care. I just want to see Carrie Underwood's toned body. Am I alone?
WV- Calm down man! Take a deep breath. It isn't Pat's pic but my pic you were looking at. Can't help you with her pic and since she is pretty much against hunting you can just fantisize all you want about her toned body and curvacious curves, etc:)
Chip, I've heard that about her. However, I've always figured I could change her mind about hunting. :^)
Ha ha ha!! Good catch, WV! Chip... What were you doing? Lol!
Keadog... Wow! Very nice!
Here's a couple from my Iowa farm. From May 30 to early June
Apparently this is what Chip was looking at.... Now the thread can get back on track :)
Jack, I was all excited to see an up and comer and then theres this, for seem reason I cant stop looking.
MD- Focus man focus!! You have bow problems so you need to concentrate on fixing that first. Jack is not doing you any favors by posting that pic:) First time I noticed her pic. Must say not bad.
The description was right. Toned it is.
CHIP T, you are correct off to the hunting room to assemble my draw board and get even more frustrated then I was 10 mins ago!!!!
Same buck ad posted above 2 weeks later.

Maybe this year but maybe one more year. We shall see if he shows back up
Pretty cool looking double beamed buck that is new to me this season. Still trying to figure out if I had him last year with a typical rack.
This will be my biggest Oklahoma buck this year. Let him go last year as a 135-140" 10. Looks like he's developing some kickers on his G2s this year. Should be a good buck.
In terms of a deer I really want to get but who won't 'score', the buck on the left is 5+ now. He's as mean as his angry face looks and dominant and a great challenge. I let him walk at 3 hoping he'd blow up but he just isn't making many gains yet.
Here is about the best I have so far. We have another about the same size. Pretty typical VT bucks.
When do you think peak growth stops?
"When do you think peak growth stops?" In my experience, the last week in July for peak..
One from the West side...I've got to pull cards again, but he's pretty cool!
Pat, is that date can't be correct, can it - March?
nice bucks if u dont have a shooter by today chances are he wont be come nov
This is the biggest buck I ever had in JUNE!! Everything from here on revolves around finding and killing this buck!
thorton im talking the ones we have pics , if its not a shooter by this time then chances are come nov he wont be
Oh well - thought this wide buck had potential to blow up, looks like he just going to be a nice 6... Other than the old "tripod" I have a lot of bucks, nothing that will make P&Y this year....
One I spotted in a field a few days ago not far from home. Put a camera where I thought he might be travelling to get a closer look and he walked by the next morning.
Also got a photo of an alien!
South Carolina bean field buck
Sorry for the picture of a picture on this one.
Another pic of a pic. Sorry for the quality. Taken over the weekend. I hope to just lay eyes on this one this fall.
Jason that's an incredible buck!
Yes it is. I've shot several deer between 150 & 165 gross. Don't get me wrong...those are nice deer. This deer is what we dream about as deer hunters. I can't tell if the right brow is split or if that is something else. Either way he will end up grossing (and netting) well beyond what I have taken. I'll have to come clean and say this pic was taken on the neighbors property but the deer was literally 30 yards from one of our stands and 10 yards off our property line...so he technically isn't "MY class of 2015". You can bet I will be concentrating on this property this fall though!!!
hahaha. Nice pat.
I personally don't have a single good pic of a nice buck yet this year. I'm lucky if the cams don't freeze up. I'm about to pitch my game cams in the trash. The old M80s have failed me this year.
This one is 3-5 years from being a shooter and it might not even be the right sex, but it is so cute.
Here are a couple of the deer we are seeing...
Jasondwhite. I think you have my picture. Please do not post any pictures or mine that are not yours. I'm your supposedly neighbor and I have never seen you before. How do you know it's 30 yards from your spot or tree stand? I wanna know how you got MY PICTURE! Please feel free to contact me at anytime.
Max, I apologize if that is your picture. All I can tell you right now is that I got an email from my friend and son of the property owner that I hunt on. I was told the deer was just across the fence to the west and I have a tree stand very close to the west property line. Two things may have happened....my friend got a random picture and is screwing with me big time or I actually do hunt next to your property and shouldn't have shared a picture that wasn't mine. Either way I apologize. Since you are from Wisconsin, I'm betting on the first option. Guess I learned a valuable lesson....don't post a pic if it didn't come directly from your card. Again..sorry.
Jasondwhite. Yes I'm from Wisconsin but I hunt in Iowa and that pictures is from one of my properties in Iowa. That picture was taken on the 4th of July. From my camera. What part of Iowa are you from?
Max, I'll shoot you a PM and give you my phone number. If you were upset that a simple picture of your's was posted i don't want to disclose the location here on an open forum. That wouldn't make much sense. If we actually do hunt near each other I would love to talk to you.
Jason
BUMP! someone got busted. please let this play out on the mail board and not by PM. HA!
Max i only hope you drew a nr deer tag this season .i wish you the best !
Why some set up on property lines makes no sense what happens when buck is just on other side of the fence do u shoot and lie !!!or steps over fence u hit it and then jumps back over , do u track without permission cause its such a good buck .
Tndeer nice bucks
Shiras if yr date is june 27 Wow thats going to be a dandy 8pt
Pat what happened to all them up and coming yng bucks ?
Thanks cityhunter. This guy has been doing a lot of bench press lately.
Tndeer i guess he is eating GMO crops plots lol
he looks sic thin in the hips keep us posted if he glows in the dark
Do you all think its a really bad infection? Wonder if you shot him with a 22 in the bottom of that thing (broadside so it didnt hit his body)if it would drain.
I shot a couple bucks in the past with serious infections on the chest. Most of them had unusual racks that make it more likely for them to get stabbed while fighting another buck. I think that's what happened to this guy.
I would contact local Bio guy and CO ,dont think a 22 is a good choice .
This is a buck from a small lease that I'm a part of. Just a conveniant drive from home. I guess it's the best buck currently on the place. Three others hunt here also, so his days are probably numbered. He's probably safe from me, I have better places to hunt, but I enjoy this too because one of my oldest friends and his son hunt here as well.
And we still have " The Leaner "
Unfortunately I believe this guy has been hammering our fawns. All my does are now showing up without fawns.
Finally started checking the cams.
Part of my resident bachelor herd. I counted 14 bedded in the pasture together last week, just chilling.
Of course, they don't always get along, even in summer.
MQQSE got a one-eyed stud... Good luck hope you get him
Another one. Needs to keep eating his vittles.
still waiting for the conclusion of that's my "Pic" how the heck did you?
Date is not correct july 12th
thanks Pat for ttt, I cant hide my memory Issues. Nice pics guys,
Lots of nice bucks. Hope y'all connect on them !

One with some pretty good tines and his sidekick.

Do you guys think this is the same two that were running around last year as in the picture above?
not sure if the same, and the yote is not in both pics.
I would say that they are the same

I've got 12 different bucks on my 80 this summer
My first pull of the year. This was 3 weeks ago so he should grow more yet.
My nicest on the farm so far.
Pretty sure every deer that I get a trail cam pic of this year will be named Cecil... jk.
My first time getting trail cam pics
Some good ones fellas! TREESTANDWOLF.... that last one, wooff!
Dakota's Link
I'll post a few of the better ones. It's looking like its going to be quite a year.
Sorry for the sideways pic - posting from my iPhone and not sure how to correct that.
Looks like the pics got corrected...
Here's a few we are getting excited to hunt. coues.....
Pappy the mass on those bases is something else. That is crazy!!
Just had what I believe to be a 3.5 year old 9pt growing a G2 kicker, possibly 2 kickers... This buck I let go last year. I have picture of him staring down my 3d Deer Target my son took of him last November, after I watched him breed a doe at noon on same day. I had him dead to rights a few times later that season, and he got the pass... A little disappointed he didn't blow up more, I bet next year he will if he makes it... Will try to find him from last year too... Oh and Wildgame takes crappy pics!
Same buck last fall- staring down my deer target while the lab pup stared at him from the deck and my son took pic with phone.
This isn't new but i always loved this picture. This is one from the farm from a couple years back.
I just wanted to weigh in (no pun intended) on the buck posted above on July 17 by Tndeer. In 2011 we found a shed from one side of a 4x4 that had a G2 which measured 13 5/8". I saw him in 2011 and he appeared totally healthy. In 2012 he came by me at 12 yds. cruising alone in November and ended up walking right under me. I easily could have killed him but he had this giant tumor on his brisket. In fact, it was close to twice the size of the one pictured above extending back between his front legs. It was about the size of an elongated big watermelon. By the way, I got this all on video. Although his G2s were probably 14" I decided to pass him up thinking the meat might not be okay to eat and he could heal the next year. A year later, almost to the day from the same stand, here he comes again. I could see the tumor was now about the size of a softball. He rubbed a tree right in front of me for a timed seven minutes straight before he offered me the broadside shot at 19 yds. I killed him without hesitation (also all on video) and he only made it 100 yds. or so. Upon examination at the original location of the huge tumor he now had a dry scab maybe four inches long and two inches wide. As I said, there was now a much smaller tumor, but off to the side of the original. I'm pretty sure I know what happened. I personally think the original tumor got so big that he lanced it while trying to jump a tight barbed wire fence. It drained and he was none the worse for wear. I took him to get professionally butchered and talked to them about his situation. The guy said he sees a lot of similar situations and it's normally just a benign fatty tumor. He said unless there's infection they simply cut away the area and process it as normal. If it's at all tainted they discard the meat. He ended up tasting great. By the way, he field-dressed 212 lbs.; was 7.5 years old and the G2s were "only" 13 inches. They're tough critters, so unless they are obviously suffering there's a good chance they'll pull through bigger and better. BW
one that is a year off but has the same genetics to produce a huge rack in one more year.
Anyone have an idea of how old this buck may be?
Dates wrong on pic but i like this pic.
Checked the cameras over the weekend.
Oh shat, don't tell anyone where that is, .. I'll check mine in the morning, nice pics everyone
