I struggle to find shoes that fit in size 14. Settled on some NorthFace GTX, have put about 10 miles on them and the sole is already starting to separate. Leaving for WY in 2 weeks for elk... Any recommendations on repairing them myself? I'm thinking its too late to return them since I have been wearing them. Thanks.

Shoo goo might be a suggestion.

Little dab of Shoo Goo or Freesole and you are good to go. Duct/Duck tape as a backup.

Thanks All! I appreciate it. I'll find some shoe goo and I always have duck tape with me. Thanks Again!

Speaking of duct tape....try the Gorilla Tape, it's amazing!

If your boots are already breaking with only 10 miles, you should get something different pronto. Even if you have to order the same brand and return the ones you have separately.
Boots having trouble after only 10-miles are an accident waiting to happen on your elk hunt.

Why jury rig and risk them failing on you during the hunt? Just go buy a new pair and return the bad ones afterwards.
