I'm sure many of you have seen this. My wife saw it on facebooger and told me I don't know if I want the kids shooting if this can happen. I told her something very wrong was ignored. What was it? The arrow was all ready shattered before the shot?

The arrow shattered on the shot.

Shooting too light an arrow is one cause of arrow malfunction. Get the kids aluminum arrows or Easton FMJ, no problems. Better yet inspect arrows for cracks and discard anything even questionable.

Flex every carbon shaft before each shot, especially if you are shooting groups where arrows contact each other in the target or if an arrow hits anything. I never shoot multiple arrows at the same dot for this reason.

I don't want to watch nor hit the link, nor see all the hundreds of pics of arrows through the hand, already did. inspect arrows, don't shoot all shots at same spot,
