Just getting in from hunting with Johnnie Laird, Muskeg Excursions. Lots of Bowsiters have been thru that camp as legend has it. My guide was Brian. Didn't realize it was a mini goat hunt! Ferry to Prince of Wales Island from Ketchikan.

Quite a few bucks on top visible as the weather had just broke. We saw a couple bucks sparring. Blew stalk on first one, my guide saw the second bedded down. We waited him out and put a stalk on him when he stood up to feed. 25 yard shot.

Hiked back down and got some salmon fishing in as well as black bear hunting. Saw about 25 bears but couldn't get a shot on any of the monsters.

Saw 15 bears the last evening, the big one stayed quartering to me, no broadside shot.
