Seems like we've got one up for every other species, so let's see some 'bou! Woodland, Mountain, Barren, Quebec/Labrador, it doesn't matter! Post 'em up!
My first caribou on my first caribou hunt! I hunted with JHA at the end of August. What a trip! Took me til the last day to get it done with the bow after punching my first tag with a rifle.
Drop camp in Alaska... 5 days ago. Go easy on the beard comments, I can't take it anymore. Ed F
Awesome bull Ed! Dunno what's more awesome the bull or the b,,,,,,
Awesome beardabou...doh! I mean..CARibou..
Really, looks like you guys had an awesome hunt! Not that it changes anything, but how many were bow kills?
Ki-ke, all of them. That's me in the back. The "little" guy.
It doesn't change anything... We had 2 groups of 4.... not a rifle in camp. 8 for 8 with 4 P&Y candidates. An incredible adventure and we got some caribou too. Ed F
Ed do I see a B&C class bull in there? Maybe Bm will post a pic....
Wowser, those are some great looking bou's. Love the formation of the rack. Almost looks like a giant non-typ whitetail. Congrats again!
Do you mean this one.... Shot at 30 yards by Pass Thru. Beautiful bull with everything you want in a caribou, double shovel, everything... Ed F
I don't know...the bezzes look a little weak! Haha what a caribou!! They're all incredible animals! What a trip that must've been! Do you mind sharing which outfit you did the drop camp with? They obviously put you guys on some great animals!!

My Bull, first morning at 8:00am! saw the one I wanted, couldn't wait! What an epic adventure!
Where the hell did you find rocks Bret! All we had was spongy tundra. Beauty of a bull! Congrats again. Incredible trip.
we had two rocky nobs, one on each side of camp about a mile apart, other than that it was all spongy tundra just like your place!
Great job guys! Beautiful bulls!
Loving the caribou thread ! Great job everyone !
Are these mountain caribou or "tundra" caribou? Nice job fellas!
Tundra caribou that live in the mountains. Seriously. Not your typical barren ground bou.
That raises an interesting question..... Ed F
Been waiting for that pic to surface! Funny.
Thanks for sharing
Congrats all on the awesome caribou. Them Alaskan ones are off the charts!
Do the genetic testing, maybe a Woody?
Ed: Are you working DEA now? Undercover?
Ha! Looks like a caribou's rear!
Dream hunt....wow! Congrats, guys!
I didn't suggest a thing... I know what species it is....
Charlie, I'm not working anything... just living a dream... Ed F
Congrats of some great bulls gentlemen!
Great Bulls Congrats to all!
I missed this till now. Grats on the bulls guys!
Ed, a week's worth of facial hair growth and you're almost unrecognizable.
Looking back through some old threads, which outfitter did you guys go with?
I'm daydreaming about caribou hunting, I think a drop camp is going to be the most cost effective way for me to go about this. Any idea/recommendation on a starting point?
