I went to one close to 30 years ago, had a blast! Met good folks from all over the map, saw and shot a lot of game and had lotsa laughs. Good luck to all!

I've been going since the start. Callaghan Ranch was great, and the new ranch, "Chaparossa Ranch" in La Pryor TX. is of the same quality and smaller. Around 50,000 and 300 people. Will be in the 80's next week, un like Minneapolis, or Buffalo!

Sounds like a great time!I wish I would've seen this post earlier. I'd love to go to TX again.Maybe next year,if I can find 1 or 2 guys from PA who want to carpool. Bob

What kind of success do guys have on this hunt? I have looked at it but have yet to do it. Really want to shoot javelina and just need to go sometime.

I don't have an exact #, but I think it was about 37% and shoot opportunities was way over that. Our group of 10 almost limited out. I'll let you know about this year. Great hunt. Will be in the 80's this year!
