My Mule Deer turned into a Whitetail!

Was down in South Dakota over the weekend on my annual mule deer hunt. Forced into a new area due to tons of other hunters in the usual spot. 3 days of terrible weather, only a few mule deer sighted, and on day four this spot and stalk mule deer hunt quickly turned into a spot and stalk whitetail hunt!

VERY nice buck! Looks like he has Donald Trump's toupee on. Am I seeing that right? Is it wood shavings from rubbing or just light colored hair?

Wood, SO close! What you circled is a rock with sage, etc around it. You actually drew a line right through the deer in the upper left "corner" of your circle, at about 11:00 (where you have some jagged lines).
