Does anyone know how to roll or fold a zebra rug for long term storage.

I roll mine so no creases. If I had the room though I would hang it on the wall.

Carefully roll it with newspapers as a liner this will stop any chance of moisture damage. you might also see if you can find a bag that you can suck the air out of. I would also load up with the moth balls that actually kill moths. Yrs they smell but that ca easily be gotten rid of by hanging the rug outside on a nice spring or summer day! you might also check with folks that store furs they might be willing to store your rug. They did a bear for me a few years ago while I was out of the country on business for a few months! good luck!!

I tored the bear rug because I have dogs and was afraid with no one being home all day the might decide to chew ojn it or use it for a bathroom. Better to spend a few bucks than loose a lifetime memory!

Mine was rolled up (hair in) for 6 years before I layed it out. Looks perfect.
