Was boning out a muley I rifled this fall in the Missouri Breaks. I will post a side and end on picture of the backstrap. Both sides were the same and I think it is an arrow wound but won't know until the taxidermist finishes the cape. The wound was well healed.
Anyone have an "almost" story about a non-typical muley hit a year or two back.

I've shot three whitetails with Broadheads in them all from previous years. Never knew until I processed them. All 3 Broadheads were impeded in the backbone so back straps were similar to yours. These were east coast deer with lots of hunting pressure so it's fairly common.

No broadhead on this one. Because both sides were the same I believe the arrow probably exited.
