The picture indicates the outside front leg is on the back position of its step--wait till the leg is forward and put your arrow in the green dot--these animals organs are more forward then whitetail--careful to stay away from that shoulder and leg joint--very hard to get a perfect shot on these animals--stay low and forward with your shot if it's broadside-it will bleed out quicker and hopefully go down sooner-- gluc n send pics

Looks like a KISS reunion!
Can you guys share the outfitters you've been using? I know they are tough but I'm in it for the hunt and I've heard the meat is second to none. Mike Mitten really peaked my interest in Nilgai after reading his book. Would seriously like to do this. Is it spot and stalk? Water holes?

Stand hunts on cattle fence crossings called (crawls)-- dung piles--water tanks--the most challenging is Stalking--outfitter King Ranch Tx.

Zebra killer-- picking a good crawl on the south fence line with a "south" wind always seemed to produce on a trip-- and just the opposite with a "north" wind--tanks during mid-day and late eveng--good luck

Zebra I prefer stalking, do fairly well, I usually try to skirt the edges of the Cat-claw thickets slowly, those Big bulls hold up in there but if you get in with them it never seems to work out!! Good Luck!!
