Well 2016 was the year, what a hunt i had it all came together on the third day was sitting in brush and a bull chased a cow across the field 114 yards from me so Iade a choice to move 50 yards down this was at 800, I cut a few shooting lanes and sat back down at 850 a monster bull stepped out, he was quartering away at 72 yards so I pulled back put 70 yard pin on him and squeezed. The trigger, I smoked the bull. I texted guide to pick me up told him let's eat breakfast and go look in a few hours. We'll we found him in a water tank! What a hunt many many long sits and I finally got a bull and a Tank at that 9 1/2 inch bull

I am glad you got your bull. I followed your previous threads and love to see when a guy makes it happen for an animal he works hard for. Awesome! This is an animal that really intrigues me and I believe I would love to hunt them in the future.
Question...Is it normal for them to be recovered from the tanks? BPM said his was in a tank too?

My guide said he has found them at edge of the lake before ,but this was his first in a tank, Go hunt them I consider this one of my best animals I have ever hunted
