Found this shed the other day. It's from a nice 10 point that I have been chasing for two years. At least I know he made it through season without getting shot.

This guy was coming down the trail a minute or so behind the buck I tagged this Fall. Then all I could do was shoot him with my phone camera.
Hopefully I draw a tag this coming year, if not my son and I are staggered on points.

Big 6, I had a shot at him second to last day of the season. He ducked my shot. Then fed out of range for the next half hour and walked off. Been seeing him last 4 seasons.

Saw him this season on morning of Nov 17, he was with a hot doe and no matter what I did he wouldn't leave her.

Called this guy in at 25 yards and misjudged the yardage and shot over his back. I put in a ton of hours hunting this guy and I missed with a perfect opportunity...I was shaking so bad, but judged him at 32 yards.

I don't happen to find and kill deer through the use of surveillance cameras and other technology, so I suppose my "target bucks" are merely those that happen to show up when hunting. If they meet legal requirements then I make an attempt to kill then. Nice pix, btw, everyone.

nice dg72A, that seems to never happen for me. Find one side and look high and low for the other, only to come up empty. How far apart did you find them if I may ask?

I have found one side so far. 26.5 inch main beam on this guy. Had him at 39 yards and couldn't find a hole to thread an arrow through. Just to rub it in he preceeded to breed the doe he was with.

This one wasn't a target buck last season, but will be this year. Last year I passed on him twice, because I thought he needed another year to meet the goals on this place. This year, he's getting a Ranger ride if I get the chance ! This is not the latest picture, but it's the best one.
