Yes, we're all still alive and well at Clarkrange. Still hog huntin'. We had alot of snow in February. Here's a huge black beast that scale weighed 820 after field dressing.
Some others from the same group.
Holy.... cow? That is one big pig!
dang I miss that place! and what a hog!
I gonna post a few CR "pigs of the past"
Can you tell I liked the place?
Yep, we miss all you guys. Johnny is still here as well.
Johnny is one of the finest men I've ever met. Look in the dictionary under "humility", there is Johnny Thompson.
Heckuva man in the woods, calm under pressure, walk and work all day, and the soul of politeness the whole time.
Ahhhh, the memories. Good to see you back here Ken!
I really miss the good times at the annual MHH about this time every year. Like Fuzzy, I brought my son Michael to MHH for his "rite of passage":-) He shot the "red devil" boar that gored Ken Moody, played poker till dawn, and was caught on camera sipping moonshine.
Many crazy good times. I'll never forget the first clubhouse meet & great ~15yrs ago where Matt, Mike, and I met Tennbow, Ken, Roger,Rob, Bob, Randy, Brian, Pat, the Lefemine family and many others.
Last time I was there was mid seventies . The owner took me to the cockfight's in some backwoods place . Paid a $1.00 at the door to keep the law away . The past owner also raised fighting cock's himself . Was a crazy weekend I'll never forget .
Swampy, when WAS that? Must've been many years ago.
Fuzzy I think it was around 1975 I believe .
and another, believe this one was 07
Swampy, then that was well before the current owner, which, from your post, I already knew.
No way Mr Moody would be involved in such shenanigans.
Woodmoose, what's hard to tell from that pic, is that hog is a 300 pounder, ...how ya been big fella?
John, you're looking sorta studly there in that MHH X sweatshirt. Was that from MHH XI and the slaughter at the cliffs? That was big fun.
An a clip of our fearless leader:-)
