I'm planning on a trip to the outback the end of January 2017. Wondering if some can post pictures of their outback experiences, touring and hunting trips within Australia.
I know it will be hotter than you know what but only time we can go.
Here's a picture I took while in Uluru last January 2015.
Thanks!!

This is the Stuart highway. Goes from Alice Springs to Ayers rock (Uluru). Its a long drive, with only outposts here and there.

You haven't experienced the Outback until you have used the "dunny" when it is 105 degrees!

Place is frikkin awesome! Shot a few buffalo, couple great Sambar, Axis and Fallow as well as pigs n donkeys! Plan a few days prior, as they lost my bow 2 times, when I got there and on a direct in country flight! Spent a month with a friend who hunts with me in Alaska Great people and unlimited hunting opportunities. Going back next year for a month, wanna target Buffalo, Rusa and Banteng

This Croc was as long as our skiff. East of Darwin in the Kakadu National Park. They call this river Alligator River, but they have no Alligators in Australia.
Nice trophy Buffalo Frank.
Thanks for the pictures. Keep them coming !!

What a cool place. I like the contrast of light and dark on the horns too.

They have some beautiful beaches in Australia. We swam at some, but we couldn't swim at these because of the crocs, sharks, and box jellyfish.

Here is the group croc watching at a remote breach. The crocs were there, but usually not seen easily. Very shy and elusive, except where accustomed to people.
