Antelope are the easiest animal to find, I don't think you really need an outfitter. Hotels are just minutes away from the antelope. I camped out because I'm just cheap that way. After I killed my goat I stayed at a hotel before heading home, but most hunters stay in hotels and hunt just down the road. Only way an outfitter can benefit you is if he has exclusive access to private land. I find most of AZ to be hunter friendly and access is rarely a problem. Ps. I arrived several days before opener to scout but it only took me 1 day to scout it. Spent the remaining days killing time. I think I visited every antique shop and sporting goods store in Prescott and Jerome. PM sent, check your mailbox.

Glasseye, good input! Helps me weigh things a little better. Did a little research on Prescott and it has lots of hotels and amenities. Would definitely save a lot of $.

Was able to get this guy on the morning of opening day. Exclusive Pursuit Outfitters hooked me up with Bobby Priest with Priest Brother's Outfitting he knows 19A like the back of his hand. Used a cow decoy to get within bow range. He green scores 87.25".
