Here is a short clip (2:45) of my first bow-bird.

This is a longer version (5min) with a view from the blind and then a slow-mo replay.

Sure was a fun, short hunt. I was back in the truck by 8AM opening day! Now it's my kids turn this weekend... fingers crossed.

Thanks guys, it's fun to share the hunt!

Martin, in the blind is a Sony HandyCam, the one in the field is a Sony ActionCam(AS50) $150. You can control the action cams with a smart phone or tablet, even power on/off remotely. Tablets usually get better range. Need bluetooth 4.0 and android 5.0 or higher for the remote on/off. I think Sony is better than a gopro because of image stabilization & low light capabilities.

Now that was some of the best footage ive seen in a long time..great video capture of sound, and perspective from out in the field looking in was awesome. Thanks for sharing. Love hearing that Ol Tom Gobbling for the last time, he was going to kick that Jakes A$$ !

What an awesome hunt & great video Chad! I liked the spot where the tom came in & kind of slapped the deke in the face with his wing, like he was challenging him to a duel!
