A man was killed just few miles from my house...
Here is the story as I understand it... A group was shotgun hunting turkey. The first guy shot and hit a turkey. He got up and started running after the wounded turkey. He ran in front of his buddy who was trying put a finishing shot on the turkey. He was shot in the back by the buddy...
Very sad. Be careful.

Sad, sorry for the family's loss. Something to think about when choosing hunting partners. None of my buddies would put a kill shot on a animal I downed. I've also never ran for a turkey but never needed to.
