My daughter and I are flying to Canada for a bear hunt next month, what is allowed by Canada and the airlines as far as a bear deternt to take onto a plane and across the boarder? Thank u for sharing

Can't even land in Canada with a pistol....so your choices are limited; Spray or shotgun/rifle

buy the bear spray when you get there ,it cant go on planes...the airlines your fly n will have all that info on there web site,and like otheres have side in other threads the guide may have some for sale? ask them ,,good luck MikeC

My motto lately has been, "If in doubt leave it out."
If I can't get an answer I will either buy when I get there or do without.
One thing is for sure dealing with an item you can't take at the airport is a hassle.
