Bears are sure consistent critters. My baits are always hit for the first time between April 19 and 22 and the first one this year was right on time.

A new bait got hit for the first time last night, looked like a killer spot, was disappointed it took so long but worth the wait! Have a few days before hunters arrive to turn this one into a daylight visitor.

Remember you need lots and lots of bait every day!!!

That looks like a nice bear. I am curious as to how to turn a bear into a daytime visitor. I have tried a diy hunt here in Ont and have had a couple of baits only hit at night. Thanks, Moe.

Rob - what was it in that last pound of bait that you needed to get it out there? That must be a dang good pound of bait!
