Perhaps i missed this on Bowsite, today received copy of Eastman's
and Bowsite sponser Allen of Bolen and Lewis Guiding Co. was featured
with the largest interior grizzly ever killed with bow and arrow. And what
and exciting kill it was! I have no problem with the frontal shot on game
after being personally mentored by BB on an antelope hunt. But holy
crap a record book, head on, hard charging boar grizzly with a estrous
sow 25 yards off to their side! Are ya &@.//@% crazy!!!
One and done, the backup rifle was silient as the boar finished his death
run past the two at 6 feet. These two guys can't possibly walk in a
straight line with cajones as big as basketballs!

They did an interview on Grittybowmen with them about the hunt, not sure there was a camera though, don't remember them saying anything about that!
In the article there is a picture like a gopro shot from the gunners point of view showing the bear coming in and Allen at full draw and the gun barrel pointing at the bear. Would think its from some sort of video devise rather than still camera. Suppose it could be some fancy photo recreation of the shot. Hope not . Would pay to see that shot and blood pumping frontal shot bear going by at six feet! WoW!

They did say on a couple different podcasts that there is some amazing video footage. They ard just trying to decide how they want to release it.

It's a huge bear and no doubt was a crazy hunt/adventure, but there's not a year that goes by that someone doesn't claim to have the new "largest xxxx ever." Seems it's yearly for WT and biannually for everything else.
I'll believe it when it's officially measured. Mr Debias' bear is still the biggest.
