Hi guys well I'm back in cell phone range to update you on our first week of hunting at trophy camp. With the early spring and dry conditions many outfitters are seriously affected by the many wildfires burning in Northern Alberta. My condolences goes out to all those impact by this. We feel very fortunate to still being able to operate.
Set up week produced lots of pictures of big bears on baits and again we were able to harvest more P&Y bears than we had hunters in camp, including a great 19"+ colored bear. I have to head back to camp now so quickly here are some pics from this past last week's success.

Ray Dohn of PA with his Giant Alberta Black Bear. Ray heard this bear fight with another bear near his bait. Moments later the huge bear walked out under his stand in a bad mood with fresh scares on his face and blood running off his nose. The bear noticed Ray and proceeded to start pushing on his tree before walking off without offering a shot. The next night "scarface" the bear wont come in closer than 40yds. Finally on night 3 Ray was able to arrow the giant Bear.

Fantastic bears! Love those ancient ones. You must be running your operation in a huge area to kill that many big ones. Congrats!
