Price range??

If you only want a big mature tom. And only want to go one time go with Byron Stewart. Byron will not waste your time or his chasing females and little males. I believe he has maintained 100% success for many years.

If you want to stay in the US and pay a reasonable price...cat track outfitters in colorado is a great place. He shoots big cats and has a near 100% success....took me 6 hrs to kill a pope and young tom. Fred will work hard and mountain lion is his main species he guides...everything else is secondary. Check out there website and reviews on here

I'd vote for Tyson Mackin in Alberta. We were into cats everyday and I killed him on day 4. I don't he's had anyone not kill one.

I am a life long houndsman, if I had to pick a place to hunt for a trophy cougar I would pick Alberta and go with Cougar outfitters, Jay Fuller. I knew cougar outfitters former owner John Cassidy way back when. If you want a chance at a B&C cat, that is where you want to go.

To jump on this subject, if a guy wanted to stay in the States, where should he be looking? Fresh snowfall being necessary, how do you book a hunt a year in advance ?

The way I see it, with lions, one can spend 10k once or 4.5k 3 or 4 times to send something to the taxidermist. If I had a one-off opportunity to kill a cat (particularly a big one) , I would call TNT Outfitters (Byron Stewart). I'd at least stay in the province of Alberta.
