Trail cam pic's?
Whitetail Deer

Wondering if any of you have your cam's out yet? I love to watch them grow! We put them out last week and I can't wait to pull some cards later this week! Let's see what you got
Pat, please share... I would love to see him. We have a few that we are hoping made it through last season. This will be our 2nd season on this new lease and our first being able to plant plots. We only had one on camera last year that was over 150, so hoping that will improve this season!
Not sure if I want to see a pic of Pat's #2! Hopefully his boots aren't in it!
I generally put mine out around 4th of July weekend.
I leave mine out all year at the house!
I left mine out over winter and just pulled the cards yesterday. 4 out of 5 had dead batteries. Grass got too tall in front of one and had 3800 pictures of moving grass. Boring. Couple fawns in my woods and couple coyotes. Can't wait to get a bobcat picture here in SW Ohio. Their here just no pictures yet.
I am only getting does and bob cats and stray dogs. I only have cams around the house this time of the year, to damb hot to go in the woods around here.
Just put mine out yesterday. Let these two walk last year and anxious to see if they made it and how much they grew Mike
and the one that I wanted last day of season,
TheSaint's Link
I set cameras out on two of my ranch listings in southern CO last month.....
Wrong pic...I was surprised to see this whitetail in southern CO west of I-25 (towards the mountains). I knew they occasionally were spotted in the area but it's the first one I had seen in this region.
Pretty busy area behind one of our horse pastures.
I have one that's been out for a week. Checked it this morning. Raccoons and three pregnant does.
I had more pics of bears with cubs then I had pics of deer.I just got a Bushnell aggressor. I love the hybrid mode where you get a pic with a video instantly after it.
This bear was in my clover plot. Wish we had a spring season.
Nice shot Steve. How are you getting along?
This one has some potential.
Looks like the camera wasn't hid as well as I thought.
One of these four rubbed against the post holding my camera and broke part of the case. Hence the camera picture being at an angle.
you may want to do a little yote hunting soon
Some guys need to set out the 'yote traps.
From the West Side...Pair of Bobcats!
Back 40 Buck, I'm watching...
They always seem to find them...Lol!
Ike, you can say that again!
No bucks yet, only pregnant does.
Finally got my first pics of some bucks. Was starting to get nervous.
One from my backyard. Should be able to watch his growth all summer.
If you want to see a whopper go over to the MN forum and see the thread titled "You can dream..."
Hope they made to this year!!!!!
I have had my cameras out since February. I have 2 locations that I track. Both have plenty of does. Here it is June 26th and I have no fawn pictures at all. Seems impossible to me. I have only one coyote pic on either camera but I have a boatload of bear pictures.I mainly hunt Virginia and for the last 3 years I see many more bear then deer.
I just put three cameras out this weekend. I won't get back to them for several weeks, but I did jump quite a few deer in the process.
Tree rat.... Keep us posted on how that one progresses. He is off to a good start

this week , not sure what type cat this is , left side poor night pic
and a couple more doe sneaking in to the beans
Love it! Keep em coming boys... I am checking cameras tomorrow or Thursday! Hope to see a few good ones.
and nice fat doe , my cats waiting for the deer to come back on the first one.
Here is one you don't see everyday
Need a better look at the one in the middle
I wish we had bucks around the house like that, I will be hanging some more cams later in the week in my hunting area and my son volunteered to help me , for now its just around the house pics. This ones from right out the kitchen window , they loved the clover I planted for them.
Domestic violence on the farm!
I just planted a few more rows in back acre of 90% and the rest is a mix of bird oriented seeds and turnips, but the crows have been hitting it hard. hope they leave something for the deer .
wish I could get ta least one buck around the house
Plenty of giants moving in the dark.
just more crows and my sons head, and a does head shot today.
anyone seeing piebald deer? Zap
12yrs here in SC and only one ever, in NJ hundreds of them every where.
I have 20 pics of this doe circling a apple trees for 3hrs , I was wondering where the low apples were going.
weekender21 - Curious what country for Axis deer?
Bowdy - Can I ask,,, that buck which looks like he's working a overhead limb of a scrape, is that a Fallow deer or some other species? Is he actually making some kind of a sign post? Once watched a pronghorn buck antelope work a small bush much like a whitetail deer working a scrape, but this was out in the middle of open plains during their rut and I know he was leaving some kind of a signpost, but have never read or heard anything about pronghorns doing so... I know elk and moose will wallow, was just curious of other deer species that scrape during their rut...
Thanks for sharing everybody...
Zbone, yes that is a Fallow Buck and the other photo is of Fallow Does. They are one of six introduced Deer species here in Australia. That particular Buck would be his first head after his spikes from the previous year. The Bucks dig out a scape with a low lying branch above them so they can rub their pre-orbital gland on it to leave their scent, they also urinated in the scape to let other Bucks and Does know that they are in the area. It's amazing to see how many deer come along and smell that over hanging branch in the five day period I had that camera on that particular scrape. The rut was just starting to fire up.
Wow Bowdy, did not realize Fallow deer scraped much like our whitetails here... Interesting,,, thanks for sharing...
Got a nice future target for my longbow, with a little luck...
Now even the pheasants are finding my cameras!
Found a good one coming along well......
No bucks yet for me, just this skinny doe, real skinny, there is a lot of timber cutting going on around me and animals for miles around me having to relocate.
PAOH, those are going to be some interesting antlers!
A couple bucks at home right in front of wife's usual stand tree. She is anxious to shoot one in velvet and the one on the left might be in trouble September 1, opening day.
I would faint if I saw that around here, its been a few years sense I caught view of a shooter .
First time this season checking trail cams in Maryland...
Would appreciate any thoughts on the age of this deer. He looks 2.5 to me but already showing 12 points
Wouldn't mind hearing some age estimates on this one too. We are thinking he's 3.
I think he is older than 3. I try not to shoot until 4 years old. It is nice to know there history and know for sure. I am guessing that buck at 4 and very possibly more than 4.
Here is a pretty good 8 pointer.
SJJ
Great pic of the buck and the Grouse!
Jacob,
Pretty sure that buck is older than 3. He is going to scream SHOOT when you see him.
The one in the late pic is the camel buck.
First batch of photos for the year. Looking good so far.
Some nice antler being grown in the pics above!
My son just sent me this from one of his spots he is going to be a shooter this year

Hope this guy shows up during the season. AZ mule deer
Terry
None of the big boys have shown up yet but here's some deer that should be nice in a year or two. All the deer here still have a lot of growing left.

Also got one of the twin fawns that live by my camera having a little interaction with a turkey haha.
better than nothing, the best buck is the one in the middle, one in the back is nothing to brag about
best one is on the far right
now you've got my attention
New guy. Pretty wide for PA
I almost got a pic of the big buck, but he still is cam shy , so here is his back end , and fawn
I got his whole body this time, he came out for some fresh buck lure ,
not sure if this is same one or not , but has injury to left ham
and again notice no velvet seen, I cant see it anyway. I never seen hard horn this early here . We open in August 15-18 or there about. Got them hooked on beans now !
this doe is headed to my apple trees for breakfast
fawn at same cam as bobcat
This one is coming along nicely
To my surprise a fox is also a corn thief , this little bugger takes 3 ears a night .
I placed a cam right in a deer trail , this doe took two seconds to spot it and turn away . I will have to raise it up I guess
Here is a nice group picture.
Oh you have to many there .
I have plenty of videos that I cant download.Got a 1 antlered deer with no tines.
These two are doing a lot of growing.
These pictures were taken at home by my blind in Ohio when I was hunting in West Virginia.
I need to check cams to night . I will have a bow there tomorrow in hand
Jim what do you use to draw the elk to cam for a pic ? No new deer this week for me, but momma ratcoon had her pup with her
r-man,I never use anything. The cameras are just set on their morning/evening pattern. They will shed their velvet any day and those groups will break up and move,so that will be that.I never use any bait or lure but have set up on kills etc before.I have one spot where a red fox constantly marks a rock and the elk deer and bears often react to that.In the one spot is a spindly old elk rub and the deer and elk have been nuzzling that since the early stages of velvet. That surprised me.One doe even bent it over and straddled it.
I found if I place some spices like allspice and nutmeg everything comes to check it out, don't need bait. even cloves and a bob cat sprayed the stick with pumkin spice on it
That's interesting.I'm a trapper and may have just learned a couple new tactics.Thanks.
That is interesting about using spices...
Sorry Zbone, just saw your question. The Axis deer are in Hawaii in the good ole USA!
Nothing over 2 years old by me (yet). Lots of potential for the future if they can survive deer season from 9/10 to 12/31..... (with 6 allowable buck tags with a variety of weapons).
Little caribou or fallow deer genes in this nice 10 with great potential, I really hope this one survives.
Fox standing in the mineral dig, doesn't bother the deer a bit...
Deer right on the minerals less than minute later... Had that fox been the "other" canine that prolifically roams about these parts, there would not have been a tail in sight!
No yotes around here , I put them all down. Are fawns are safe for a while. I stll have not moved cams in timber , I wont get another buck pick till I do. Nice to see your still here Jack
I just jumped a fawn in he beans while getting this cam pick, she let me walk by the first time. And we have hard antlers now , well this one is
