Finally-Photos from my CO Sheep Hunt
Wild Sheep

Even though I took this chocolate ram 7 months ago, I didn't post any photos on social media sites, as I had promised the guys at Eastman’s Bowhunting Journal (EBJ) that I would not do so if they had an interest in publishing my story/photos. EBJ 96 goes to print on Wednesday, so thought I would share a couple of photos.
I scouted 15 days and took this ram on my 18th day of hunting. Although I hunted with my son-in-law some of the time, I took him on a solo day. It was the next top last day of the season.
- He is only 7 yrs old. - His neck at his head was 28 ½” (for photo reference, I am 6’ and 250lbs). - Greatest spread was 25 ¼” - Rt Horn was 36 3/8”, the left 34” - Bases were 16” and 15 7/8”
I drew with 3 plus 15 weighted.
Can't wait to get the full body mount for the crib.
Love the color and the snow, very cool! Congrats!!
Here's a front shot showing his spread

So you bowhunted on a rifle (any weapon) tag? Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
elkstabber, No, it was an archery only tag. The only archery tag in the unit. There was a single rifle tag, but that hunter did not fill.
Beautiful Ram!! Congrats!
Great ram! 3+15!? Worth the wait. Way to make good on the tag!
Congrats on a beautiful ram. Be sure to post photo's after you have him back from the taxi.
That is pretty darn awesome! Your smile says it all. Congrats on a beautiful and hard-earned trophy ram. Lifesize mount??? That dark color is really neat.
Excellent! Congratulations on a heck of a trophy!
You made it happen! Congrats! And what a trophy!
AZ-Rich, yes, Doing a full size. I was able to skin him the easy way. See photo. After the shot, the ram ran across the face and down canyon. He then fell down canyon and caught on a tree, 83 YARDS FROM MY TRUCK. Being solo, it was a sign from God:). I was able to slide him down the last 25 yds to the road and get him out whole. Hung him up in my garage so skinning him for a full body mount was much easier than on the side of a mountain. This photo also shows how thick his neck is.
Excellent!! It will look great when completed I'm sure.
Dang good read in the new EBJ--Eastmans.
Congrats again------->
Good luck, Robb
Beautiful ram. Congratulations!
Grats! Nice ram!
That had to feel great getting it done on your own right at the end of season.

Very nice, Congratulations
I saw the article in EBJ. Congrats!!
Congratulations on a beauty, and ending it 83 yards from the truck. You must be living right!
