Many of you have been asking, so back by popular demand is the annual trail camera thread.
I checked cameras this weekend, and of course, I have a few more cameras that are dead. So, I will be replacing and adding some cameras over the next few weeks.
I did manage to get some good shots of bulls over the past few weeks on the cameras that are still working. Its always entertaining to see how far along some are compared to others.
***Lastly, I have two cancellation spots available for our early archery hunt this year. These spots just became available last week. I will be offering a discount for this hunt since it is getting close. Please PM, email, or call for details regarding the cancellation offer. That will keep this thread focused on the cameras.
Thanks.

I know exactly where a few of those shots came from! If I was hunting a waterhole it would be that one! Are some of these from the Interstate stand?
Dan, I have been waiting on this thread! Getting anxious for late September!
Keep them coming!
Good eye Ron! Yes, the camera with the log laying across the creek is the Interstate stand. The wallows are just uphill from the creek in the photos. The elk are starting to really get in there with the weather warming up. In fact, I bumped a good bull in there while checking the camera. One of my favorite spots!
Can't stop looking at these pictures!! Thx for the update!!!
Like to see that first bull in September. Great pics.
Trophy8,
I was thinking the same thing!!!

Spent a day on the ranch clearing fallen aspens from the road and doing some stand maintenance. I was able to check a few cameras that I could drive to. I did not check all the rest of the cameras.
I am also in the process of uploading a video of a big herd of elk that I captured on video. They were quite talkative so pretty entertaining to listen to while working. Look for that on another thread.
Lastly, this is looking like a big year for acorns! That is really exciting for hunters this year as the elk love feeding on acorns. The oaks are full of acorn buds which is great news for our bowhunters!!
This looks like a great start Dan! More anticipation!
Very nice! Looks like great feed conditions in June! Keep 'em rolling!
Mark
And guess who's getting first crack at them...........me!
Looks like a it will be another great year!
63 more days to wait for me.

Latest round of trail cameras. Things are looking good at Rocking R!
Arriving in two months! Sweet!
^^^Where did that one come from? That's weird.
Are any of these from that new lease Dan?
I'm a little over a month away from there!
Ron,
Yes, there are a few pics from the new lease. I only have a few cameras over there and just got them up and running.
A little over a month...its getting close!
Two months from today for me! Thanks for the update Dan!
Thanks for posting the photos Dan!! Looks like some nice Bulls!!!

Well, this year is the year of the cancellation bug. I have a cancellation opening for our late archery hunt this year. This is our only archery opening in 2016. Dates are September 21-25 which should coincide with the peak of the rut. PM, email, or call for details.
Been super busy this summer so don't have another trail camera update. Will try to get to it as soon as I can.
Thanks everyone.
