Gaia GPS Pro

I purchased Gaia GPS for my Iphone and I love it. Now I see there is a "Pro" upgrade for $49 per year or $5 a month. Wondering what the real advantage is of Pro. I may try it right before my elk hunt but wondered if other Bowsiters have used it and if the upgraded satellite photos are worth the $.

I don't think so. You download the maps (topo, aerial, property, etc.) into the phone while connected to wifi or cellular and then you use the app while in airplane mode. What I have heard so far is that as long as you can recharge it at night which will be easy for me to do, it should be good.

I use Gaia on an old tablet. Love that app.
