Drew the Manti at 50% odds with 12 points....feeling lucky. Later dates drew more than I thought to the table.Open to any information fellow bowsiters might have on the unit.

Yikes I'm seeing it was a complete waste to build points up to the 20 level. Last year there was only one guy ahead of me that jumped in and grabbed the one preference tag I wanted. This year THREE jumped in for that same one tag. With that trend I see I am just wasting my time and money. Thanks so much Don Peay-to-Play SFW tag thieves.

For residents, I see this year a lot of people with way more points than were required cashed them in for archery tags. I wonder if it's because of the better than average hunt dates (by Utah standards anyway).
Because of the later archery dates this is probably the year most would jump in and take their chance.

At least with UT's point system, you have a chance to draw with minimal points.

I have a question in regard to the Utah bonus pt stats on their website. If I look up my current bonus pts it lists the year of last point and how many pts for each species. For example, if I have 20 pts and the last year of pts is 2016 do I look under 19 or 20 pts in the 2016 draw odds report?
I'm not sure if they hand out bonus points prior to the draw or if they use the bonus pts received after the 2015? It's a little confusing!

look under the 20 points, since if you apply for that same hunt next year, that's what you will be applying with.
Definitely some point jump for some archery hunts. Also SFW taking the NR tags for HuntExpo and auctions doesn't help the cause :(
You were in the 19 point pool when the odds report was created so that's where you look to see what your odds were for the 2016 draw.
