With the way that the cable guard is flexing, my AAE Max Hunters will hit the cables so I had to turn them but have noticed a slight rub on my rest now. What is everyone shooting on their new defiants? I fletched a couple arrows tonight with blazers, max hunters and fusion vanes but haven't tried any "low profile" vanes since I don't own any yet.

Unless the ZT cable guard on the Defiants is different than the rest, it shouldn't contact. I shoot vane up with no problem.

Thanks everyone. I tried out the blazers and fusion vanes last night but still prefer the aae max hunters for groups. Offset vane it is I guess.

I use the Maxhunter on mine vane up and no problems. You could also try the Max Stealth vanes there a little longer but shorter height.
