Nope, been in steady decline for the past decade or so with liberal bag limits... Kill stats still half of what they used to be a decade or so ago, it'll take them a while to recover, IF, that's a big IF the DOW manages better...

Agree with the above statements......give it another 6-10 years, then maybe it will be good again statewide!
There are sill some good ones around, but not like back in the prime!

I have a couple of buddies that live down there and they said the last 3-4 years have been the worst they have ever seen it. I would say it is the same all over the whole state in general.

Wow, I'll take your guys worst over our normal hunting anytime. I was down there 2 years ago and had a blast. if not for a busted cam on my bow I would have had a nice public land buck. I'm planning a trip down this fall and can't wait to get there.
