Liquid lime is only worth it if spraying is your only way to apply it, or if you are tank mixing with other products and want to save on the labor of multiple applications.

The best bang for the buck is a high Ca lime like Solu-Cal. It cost more per bag, but you only have to use 1/4 as much as dolomitic lime. Also works in 6 weeks instead of 6 months...

I put out 52 tons of lime. It cost $2000 and all I had to do was write the check and they spread it for me. Can't get any cheaper than that!

A client who is one of the best agronomists in the US, laughed when i showed him some of the claims by some liquid calcium companies, I can't remember if there was any swearing or just a ton of chuckles.

Yes, i sell a foliar liquid calcium product but it's a booster when pH's are low and i have micros with it. Anyone who just uses liquid calcium and forgoes the dry calcium products are not doing yourself any favors.
