Over the years of hunting multiple species/states I have 8/9 magazine articles published.
I have always wanted to display them individually in my Trophy Room but they take up so much wall space I haven't done it yet.
I have 2-3 copies of each mag article as some articles are back to back pages ect.
I have thought about using those poster type frames and have it so they swing open to the next article??? A dang heavy base install for sure---->
I would like to use the mag Cover and then go into the page/pages of my article.
Mags ranging from Trophy Hunter, Eastman's, Wild Sheep, The Bighorn (RMBS mag) Long-Hunter and the like. Some half-page others 3-4 pages.
Ranging from Packing with llamas to elk/sheep/Mnt. Goat/Mnt. Lion ect. articles.
Looking for idea's or pix of how you other published guys display your whole articles.
Good luck, Robb
PS--my Mrs has her own articles but she has a different idea for hers.
A lot comes down to how much space a person has and clutter effect. It gets overwhelming fairly quickly...
I put P&Y certificates and Magazine articles into storage envelopes and keep them away. Some early Eastman's stuff I was in I had Mike sign and I've thought it might be cool to Matt and frame, but about the only stuff I actually have out are wooden plaques or award things with photos like GSCO stuff with photos. It might be cool to display them in the hallway to my game room, but space seems to diminish no matter how big a guy starts out with...
Many of you have seen pix/vid of my Trophy Room, what I want is to use the Plaques/Certificates wall next to my Bird Wall for this Mag article display.
I won't pay anyone to do it---I just am a DIY type guy.
I have tossed the idea of a 'book' type presentation and that is a good idea but not real visual----
My guy owns a Dipping bsns. and he said he can dip each frame a different camo color/pattern for way cheap for me.
I better get busy if I am going to get this done as my home state Bow Elk starts on August 20th and then I am gone/home/gone almost thru December!! haha
Thanks again for sharing and your idea's fella's.
Good luck, Robb

I am trying to avoid that whole 'wallpaper' gig.
I've pretty much settled on these-----with parchment paper backing.....
Good luck, Robb

They take up some wall space, but man do they turn out great - and the cool thing is, it's all done digitally, so you can approve your design beforehand. Good luck!!
There probably is not one person in the world besides you, who really wants to read the whole thing. I have hundreds of articles etc. in a scrap book, mostly for future reference for myself. Never saw anyone read any of it.
Just think about putting one or two of title page and photo only on a plaque or something. It gets really cluttered fast. Remember, our I love me walls are really just for us.
You should see my office :) starting to look like a shrine crossed with a taxidermy shop and decorated by six-year old with ADD.
Yep, that would be my cabin! My neighbor said it would be a good place for drunk men to hang out because there's so much random stuff to look at..
Mine are in the magazines on bookshelves, and the newspaper articles are in a drawer. Never really found a need to display them on walls where nobody would ever read them anyway. If I ever win the Pulitzer I might thing about it, but that ain't gonna happen.

They were substantially better than the competitors in my opinion and I have so many of these placks I could probably pay for a sheep hunt with what I spent on them
When friends/visitors come into my TR they look but don't need to score every mount----same as seeing ones articles displayed---they look but don't need to read word for word. haha
Thanks for all the input.
Good luck, Robb
