To everyone heading out to chase elk this year. I start my 27 hour drive in the morning and will be hunting the opening day in Colorado.

Have a safe drive whoever is heading west, I sure don't miss those days of 20+ hours of driving, all I have to do now, is wake up in my own bed and drive 15 minutes and I'll be elk hunting.

BEST of luck to all! My plans have changed, so now instead of two long weekends I am heading out this Friday and don't come home for 9 days while I chase wapiti. Very optimistic. So I'm sure that guarantees some tag soup. LOL
