Many of the higher peaks in Colorado received a dusting of snow overnight. It could be a snowy September.

It was low 30s this morning in my elk camp, rain-snow mix all night. Two more degrees and it would have piled up. Sure feels like hunting weather the past few days!

On Saturday Aug. 13 it was 39 degrees at dawn in our pronghorn camp just south of Baggs, WY, in NW Colorado. Sure felt good!

Oak brush and trees are changing, started about two weeks ago here in Eagle county. I can't remember when I seen the color change start this early.
