Gold Tip & Cabelas Stalker Extreme

I have both a Gold Tip 300 spine and a Cabelas stalker extreme 340 (65-80) arrows. The Gold tip consistently shows a left tear while the Cabelas is a bullet hole. I shoot 70# with fingers so I have to have a very stiff arrow. However, it seems strange to me that the heavier rated Gold Tip is the one that shows a weak spine.
Anyone else experience this with GT? Thoughts anyone?

I've shot goldtips for years, until I started shooting Cabela's 340 Extreme's! Won't change! My Cabela's have served me well. I shoot a 64" Blacktail, 56#s at 29" with 4, 3"feathers! They work GREAT! Cabelas are made by Beman!
