Fall in the air at Shiloh
It's that time of year all us hunters have been looking forward to all summer...it's fall. Depending on what you hunt, it can begin in late summer or early October, but we can smell it in the air.
Our hunters are gearing up for Sept hog hunting and Shiloh is a great place to start. Hogs are hungry and hitting the feeders on a regular basis. If you haven't tried a fall hunt for hogs, then you are missing some great action!
Here are some pics from my camera at #7
Matt Napper Shiloh Ranch Hunting Camp
Oh tempt me not! Okay, maybe a little.
Can you see the big boar in the background?
I see him Matt. He better be glad I'm headed to Colorado instead of Oklahoma
Quack, how are you?! Long time it seems. Come see us real soon. You headed for elk?
Yessir. Since I last seen you'll. Switched jobs. Been flooded out. Had two more little boys. Twins. Their 3 months now. Just bought another house and we're remodeling it. I did not get the fuzzy feeling from the wife when i told her I got drew for an elk tag ?? Here's a pic of the new additions.
I'll get up there before to long. The oldest will be able to go with me before long.
Its far from fall in oklahoma
Wow Quack! Very nice. Future Shiloh Ranch hunters! ;-)
Gotta love those pictures but that little 100 down in the lower right corner doesn't make me think fall. Good luck the rest of this year guys.
It's misleading because it's catching the sun. It was 90 today but it's better than 100! :^)
Herd of swine. To late, feed gone!
You'll be seeing me and my guides this winter if you will take us. Your ranch looks to be a lot of fun!!
Great pics from 7. We are just 2 weeks from archery season starting here in Mo. The pics. make me think about trying to do something down there this fall, but if not see you in April.
Spike buck, give me a shout. We have very few spots left so contact me asap. Love to have you guys! Matt
dang I want some of that action!
Moved camera to stand #4.
The temp on the camera is looking a little better.
Those high temps 100 plus wasn't correct. It is a result of being in direct sunlight. 69 this morning!
Beautiful day, low humidity and pigs on the move.
You folks need to get in on some of this! Lots of hogs!
If no one is looking at the pics I will stop posting them. Besides, I can use it to look for deer. :)
Hogs, hogs and more hogs, love the pics
Can't wait to get back down there. Come on January!
Keep the pics coming! It stirs great memories and builds excitement for a return visit! I hope you guys are doing well!
This young lady (Annie) made her first bow kill this evening. (My gun in background) Kai found it but it didn't go far. Annie made a perfect shot.
Is that Rattlesnake Ridge?
It's been a while since I've been there so I wanted to be sure of the camera location.
