Today is the first day of a five day antelope hunt I bought at the Colorado bowhunters convention this spring. The hunt was a full donation to the CBA. I got in last night and was blown away by the lodge. Beautiful log cabin with great views of Spanish peaks. These guys have shot 3 bucks over 70" this year already. I'm in a permanent ply wood blind sitting on water. It's been cool and rainy so pray for sun for me!

I have seen 5 bucks 2 small came to drink 1 med walk buy at 40 and a real big buck 300 out

Sun is out doe and fawns are moving have had two small groups come in. Starting to warm up should be a good afternoon. Got a little blue heron buddy been here all day eating mud puppies 50 at least he came to shore and took a big dump in front of the blind. Made me a little jealous!!

Beautiful sunny day. Everything was muddy but no puddles. Wind is blowing so it should dry up fast. Have had 3 doe so far. 9:10

I got rained out to night......water everywhere. We drove around the property and I bet I saw 10 bucks over 70". A few pushing 80. Not sure about tomorrow hope that prairie sucks all that water up!

Going to try the west side of property today. It did not get as much rain as east side. This bird hunts all day! Stalking real slow through the water.

Long day yesterday with no service. Sat all day finally had a real nice low 70s buck come in 1/2 hour before dark. It was so calm he busted me drawing...... I'm in a new spot today. All ready have a bomber with 20 doe out in front of me. Looks to be pushing 80". More video on Facebook. 7:00am September 1.
