I'm not sure that the size of dewlap is a sign of dominance. In Alaska, I was told the opposite. Most older bulls have small dewlaps. Supposedly, they get frozen and fall off. At -40F, it is hard to keep the dewlap from freezing.

I just got the dewlap back from the taxidermist, This is just what I was wanting. Still don't know what I will do with it, bag, put in my man cave hat, etc. I will post a pic in the main section here. Thanks again! Grant
