Co Sept 20th 2.9 miles from the truck.

Colorado draw unit. Diy packed in with llamas. About 6 miles and just short of 2k. Shot at about 11400. Frontal shot thru heart. 250 yds recovery. Rocket steelhead. Saw at about noon, did 2 miles + or - to get wind right. Shot at 530.

Son pack total weight on airline scale was 130 pounds. 30 pounds of bivy gear on the front and 100 pounds of meat on Eberlestock F1 frame on his back - 4.5 miles ! He is a beast!

Colorado Wilderness area - 4.5 miles in on a Bivy hunt. 30 yard double lung with 75 yard recovery. 73 pound PSE Evo, Axis 300 camo, 475 total grains, Wasp Jak-Hammer select-a-cut at 1.5 inches.

Colorado public land otc. Second year elk hunting for me and 3 buddies. Shot these to on the same day. The bigger one I bugled into 5 yards and my buddy drilled him in the chest. A day we'll never forget for sure!
