This past season, I hunted out of a treestand on several occasions. And I almost made it happen!

But as I packed my treestand, sticks, lifeline, safety harness, etc., I thought that maybe a chair or stool could accomplish more versatility and less weight while sitting at an ambush site.

Anyone have any suggestions? I want something I can throw on my pack and not notice. (1-2 pounds max)

http://www.fanaticoutdoors.com/product/hammock-seat/ I use a hammock seat. Less then 2 lbs, comfortable, you can sit 2 inches off the ground or 2 feet.

I have an Helinox and love it. Light weight, setup fast, and very comfortable. It is almost too comfortable as I sometime find myself drifting off to sleep.
