NR Arizona Cow Elk Tag?

Lived in AZ 20 years ago and miss the country. Thinking of putting in for a Non-resident Archery Cow Tag...? I don't need a bull, just want an opportunity to hunt AZ again. Any thoughts? Units Recommendations? Information on draw odds for NR Cow Archery Elk? Any info or thoughts would be appreciated. -Thanks

In the AZ big game hunting booklet, they publish the success rates for each hunt, including the archery cow hunt. You might start there.

I'd head for high population units like 1, 4a, 3c, 6a.

Looking at the % tags that NR drew in 2016, your odds are single digit in the 1-2 Pass. Most of those hunts are 4+ point hunts.
