Looking for good elk outfitter in NM

My cousin and I are looking into planning an elk hunt in New Mexico for 2017 or 2018. We've been researching the Gila NF and wondering if anybody has an outfitter they'd suggest in that area. Is it worth spending time down that way or go more toward the northern border? This will be our first guided hunt so any help would be appreciated tremendously.

If you want the Gila I'd recommend San Francisco River Outfitters . Look at their web site. Tom's been taking clients in there for 30 years.
