Craig, the owner died earlier this year or possibly last year, but I think I read that his wife was still running the operation.

The outfit has been sold.....do a search on Bowsite, and maybe you can learn more about the details.

I got a Christmas email from them but I sent them several messages with no response.

SteveB, I dont understand why people don't have the common courtesy to return a phone call either way . Was in business for 20 years and there was not one phone call I did not return .

I will have 7pts by the time I'm going - so I would like to hear any other outfitters that you guys would recommend- looking for a wildnerness trip of a lifetime type hunt

Craig passed away over the summer. His wife and head guide were suppose to be carrying on with the business, the Christmas email implied that as well. haven't heard about it being sold. I was talking to him about antelope/mulie and someday elk. His "good" ranch takes 4 points to draw (TTT), not sure what others take.
With 7 points you can probably get into many other outfits as well.

Bob H is correct.
Donna is a great host. I'm sure they are on a much needed break and holiday festivities are taking place.

Spoke to Phil yesterday. He was Craig's manager a is now operating Triple Three. Said they had great success this past season and everything is on track for next year.

Not much has changed since Phil took over. Same ranches same guides. By the end of next month he will have his license and will take the wheel. At that point he will resign as a Bowsite sponsor as well. After working there for a number of years he knows the ropes.
Craig loved to guide and before he passed he had talked about selling to Phil and just working for him so the transition was already something they considered.
The number of points you need depend on where you hunt. There are ranch hunts in 33 and hunts in the Bighorns to the north.
I assume you've looked at the outfitter reports here on Bowsite?
Good luck!
