It's time again for the Bowhunters of Wyoming Commissioners Tag Raffle. You do not need to be present to win. Winner may choose to hunt either elk, deer or antelope. You are not restricted to archery only. Thank you everyone for your support in the past and to Pat for helping our organization and Wyoming's wildlife by letting us post this each year.

Can anyone tell me a little more about the commissioners tag?? Do you have to hunt on state land?? Any other input about the tag?

The tag can be used to hunt the animal of your choice, deer, elk more antelope. You will have to select a unit you want to hunt. Many of us would be happy to help the winner select a unit. You may hunt private land with it if you get permission first. These tags typically are used for elk and auction off for $9 to 12 grand. If you have already applied for and receive a tag, you may still use this tag, enabling you to take a second animal. Hope this helps a little.

Just a quick note. Last year I purchased 4 tickets online and was only credited for 1 ticket. I called and they made it right. Just a simple mistake. Check the number of tickets that you receive in that they match up with the number that you bought. By the way I the "winner" for this year :)

Ohiohunter. You got the correct number of tickets. Last year I bought "4" and they only sent me "1" ticket. I called and they sent me "3" more. Just an honest mistake on their part. You are good.
