I have a convention to attend for work April 18 through the 22nd and in Atlanta. I am going to do some research on the possibility of hunting turkeys for a couple days while I'm down there after the convention. But I was hoping I could get some information here on whether it would be worth it. I've never been to Georgia so I don't know what the area outside of Atlanta is like or how much Public ground there may be. As I said, I'm going to research license fees and public ground but was hoping to get some general information on what the hunting is like from those here who may be familiar with the general area. Thanks in advance for any help

Don't know where you are from, but GA turks are very challenging especially on public. Recommend you look into guided PL.....especially with a bow.
